Taxi to Leicester City Centre Pubs, Bars & Nightclubs
Book a taxi to or from any Leicester city centre venue. We cover the pubs, bars and clubs across The Lanes, the Market Place, High Street, King Street and Granby Street — there and back, at any hour, with the fare agreed before you travel.
Licensed, DBS-checked drivers, 24 hours a day. Tell us the venue and how many of you are travelling and we will do the rest.
Leicester nightclubs
Clubs sit on several different sides of the centre rather than one strip, so a group moving between them is covering real ground. These are the ones we are asked for most.

Quote St Nicholas Place when you book and we will confirm the drop-off with you.

25 Yeoman Street, LE1 1UT
Book with the Yeoman Street address and your driver will head straight there.

A regular pickup for groups travelling home together — tell us your numbers and we will send the right vehicle.
The Fan Club Nightclub
40 Abbey Street, LE1 3TD
Abbey Street sits near the Belgrave Gate side of the centre, handy if your night moves between venues.
Motto Nightclub
94-96 Belgrave Gate, LE1 3GR
Belgrave Gate is one of the busier city centre roads, so a pre-booked return is worth arranging.

Late and cocktail bars
Most of these cluster tightly around The Lanes and the Market Place, with a couple over on King Street and Granby Street.
Firebug
1 Millstone Lane, LE1 5JN
One of three Millstone Lane venues we collect from — the house number keeps it unambiguous.
Little Sister
1 St Martins Square, LE1 5DF
St Martins Square sits inside The Lanes, so agree the meeting street with your driver.
The Gadabout
10 Guildhall Lane, LE1 5FQ
Guildhall Lane runs through the older quarter near the Cathedral.
BAR TROPICIA
5 St Martins Walk, LE1 5DG
St Martins Walk is pedestrianised, so we will agree the nearest road with you when you book.
33 Cank Street
33 Cank Street, LE1 5GX
Cank Street links the Market Place end of The Lanes, close to several other bars on this list.
Watson's Bar Leicester
94 Granby Street, LE1 1DJ
Granby Street is a main route through the centre and an easy address for a driver to find.
Inside No 9
Market Place, LE1 5GG
Market Place addresses are best booked with the venue name so there is no mix-up.
Grand Union
24 King Street, LE1 6RL
King Street is short and narrow, so pre-booking the return keeps things simple.
City centre pubs
From the High Street run near Highcross to the quieter streets by the Castle, these are the city centre pubs we run to regularly.
Queen of Bradgate
93 High Street, LE1 4JB
One of three venues on this stretch of High Street, so give us the number or the name.

A few doors along High Street from the Queen of Bradgate — same postcode, different number.
The High Cross
103-105 High Street, LE1 4JB
Sits near the Highcross end of High Street, within easy reach of the shopping centre.
O'Neill's Leicester
16-20 Loseby Lane, LE1 5DR
Loseby Lane is one of the narrow Lanes streets, so we will arrange a workable pickup road with you.
The Globe
43 Silver Street, LE1 5EU
Silver Street runs through the heart of The Lanes and is well known to our drivers.
The Corn Exchange
1 Corn Exchange, Market Place, LE1 5GG
Right on the Market Place, a common meeting point for groups travelling home together.
The Blue Boar
16 Millstone Lane, LE1 5JN
Shares Millstone Lane with Firebug and the Rutland & Derby Arms, so quote the venue name.
The Rutland & Derby Arms
21 Millstone Lane, LE1 5JN
The third Millstone Lane venue we are asked for — the house number tells them apart.
The King's Head
36 King Street, LE1 6RL

14 Hotel Street, LE1 5AW
Hotel Street is just off the New Market Square side of the centre.

The Bowling Green
44 Oxford Street, LE1 5XW
Oxford Street is on the southern edge of the centre, towards the De Montfort University side.
Guides by part of the city centre
Each part of the centre behaves differently once you are trying to get picked up. These guides cover what to expect and how to plan the trip back.
Taxi to Leicester Nightclubs
That spread is the main reason club nights are worth booking rather than leaving to chance. We run 24 hours a day, every day, and the fare is agreed with you before the driver sets off — so the price does not change because a venue has just emptied and everyone wants a car at the same moment.
Taxi to The Lanes and Market Place, Leicester
Several of these streets are pedestrianised or too narrow for a car to wait in. That is not a problem, but it does mean the drop-off and the pickup are worth agreeing when you book rather than sorting out in the moment. Tell us the venue and we will arrange a road that works for both of you.
Taxi to King Street and Granby Street, Leicester
For a taxi, that difference matters more than it sounds. The main roads are easy to quote and easy to find. King Street is the one worth planning, because a short street with several venues on it fills up quickly when people are waiting outside.
Taxi to Leicester High Street Pubs
Sharing a postcode does create one wrinkle: LE1 4JB on its own is not enough to tell a driver which door you are at. Give us the venue name or the house number and that is solved.
Also in the city centre
These sit outside the four groups above but we collect from them just as often.
The Salmon
19 Butt Close Lane, LE1 4QA
Butt Close Lane sits on the Highcross side of the city centre.
Knight & Garter
14 Hotel Street, LE1 5AW
Hotel Street is just off the New Market Square side of the centre.
The Castle
8-9 Castle View, LE1 5WH
Castle View is on the quieter Castle Gardens side, away from the busiest streets.
The Bowling Green
44 Oxford Street, LE1 5XW
Oxford Street is on the southern edge of the centre, towards the De Montfort University side.
Venue list last checked 7 October 2026.
Taxi home from Leicester city centre
Getting into town is the easy half. The journey home is the one worth planning, because demand across a small area climbs sharply when venues begin to empty and everyone on the same street wants a car at once.
Book the return pickup at the same time as the outbound trip. It holds your slot, and if the night runs longer or ends earlier than planned you can message us to move the time — a much quicker conversation than starting a booking from scratch at the busiest moment of the night.
Friday and Saturday nights are the obvious ones, but the same advice applies during freshers, when thousands of new students arrive and the city centre fills up on weeknights too, and at Halloween, when costumed crowds turn out across the centre at the same time. Our fares do not change on any of them — the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
For more on how the small hours work, read our guide to getting home after midnight. Students can find term-time travel advice on our travel pages for Leicester students.

Frequently asked questions
Can I book a taxi to a Leicester city centre venue in advance?
Yes, and for a night out it is worth doing. You can book online, call 0116 233 8888 or message us on WhatsApp. Give us the venue name and the street, your pickup address and how many of you are travelling, and we will confirm the fare before the driver sets off.
Should I book my taxi home before I go out?
It is the single most useful thing you can do. When venues start to empty, a lot of people want a car at the same moment across a small area. Booking the return at the same time as the outbound trip puts you in the diary, and if your plans change you can message us and we will move the time rather than start again.
What should I tell you when a venue is on a pedestrianised street?
Give us the venue name rather than only the postcode. Several city centre streets are pedestrianised or too narrow for a car to wait on, and a few venues share a street or a postcode with their neighbours. With the name we can agree a nearby road where the driver can pull in safely.
Can you take a group home in one vehicle?
Usually, yes. Tell us your group size when you book rather than when the driver arrives, because that decides whether we send a saloon, a larger vehicle or a second car. We can also arrange more than one drop-off on the same journey if people live in different parts of the city.
Do your fares change on busy nights?
No. The fare is agreed with you before you travel and it does not change because the city centre is busy. That applies on Friday and Saturday nights, during freshers, at Halloween and over the Christmas period.
Do you run after the last buses and trains?
Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so there is no point in the night when the service stops. If you are not sure when you will be ready to leave, message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm a fixed fare before the driver sets off.
